Simax Encased Lava First Quality WonderTube

This WonderTube consists of NS-64 Lava encased with a layer of Simax clear. The clear layer protects the Lava from scuzzing or bubbling, lets the tubing work very easily, and lets it soak in the heat needed to shape into perfection. Lava is a warm opaque orange that holds its color through heavy working, and the Simax encasement keeps the surface clean while you shape it. Because this tubing is hand pulled, sizing will vary. We recommend pre-heating each tube in the kiln at 1050F for 20-30 minutes before bringing it to the torch to avoid loss from thermal shock. This is a specialty product that is not often produced - limited stock available.
