Two layers of Jupiter V2 under a jacket of Simax clear. Jupiter V2 is a lighter gold- and silver-bearing striking colour with an opalescent cast that pulls fumey peach and pink out of the glass as you work it - close cousins to Opal Peach and Blossom. The clear coat gives you a more controlled strike, but because it does not respond to the kiln, how far the colour goes depends on how thick the wall is and how you run your flame. This is second quality tubing: same glass, heavier cosmetic flaws, bubbles or striations, priced accordingly.
