Northstar WT063 WonderTube WonderCane - Second Tube

NS-063 Canary is a cadmium based bright yellow. This tubing campaign consists of two crucible dips of NS-063 Canary and one dip of Simax clear. With the ability to be stretched thin and still hold its color, this tubing has a great saturation of color while being protected by a layer of Simax clear for workability. Second quality tubing is the same glass under the same Simax encasement, set aside for cosmetic and dimensional variance rather than color problems. Expect more variation in diameter, wall thickness, and taper than a first, along with the occasional air line or surface mark. It works exactly like first quality in the torch. Because this tubing is hand pulled, sizing will vary. We recommend pre-heating each tube in the kiln at 1050F for 20-30 minutes before bringing it to the torch to avoid loss from thermal shock.
