Northstar Rust (43) - Second Second Quality Standard Rod

Rust is a fully opaque striking ruby. It can yield a bright porcelain red, and rich earthy browns. Work Rust in a hot neutral to slightly oxidizing flame. It can be flame struck or kiln struck. It is well suited for sculpture as well as blown work. It is also useful as a backing for transparent striking colors.
