NS-125 Jet Black is a very dense, creamy black that works easily and suits sculpture and blown work, and it makes a strong background for striking colors. Work it in an oxidizing flame: in a reducing flame it develops gray streaks and a dull matte finish. Apply it gently; once it is melted in, it takes a lot of heat. Fats are thicker than standard rod, and second quality glass may contain stones, inclusions or other cosmetic flaws.
