Northstar Jet Black (125) - Odd Fat

NS-125 Jet Black is a very dense, creamy black that works easily and suits sculpture and blown work, and it makes a strong background for striking colors. Work it in an oxidizing flame: in a reducing flame it develops gray streaks and a dull matte finish. Apply it gently; once it is melted in, it takes a lot of heat. Fats are thicker than standard rod, and odd quality is first-quality color in rods that may be oval, curved, tapered or short.
