Northstar Extra Light Yellow over NS 05 Orange (WT059) - Second Tube

Extra Light Yellow laid over NS-05 Orange. On the shelf it reads as an unpromising rusty caramel; on the torch it opens into a milky orange shot through with fumey pinks and purples. Run an aggressive, sharp, oxidising flame to melt the core all the way through - that is what gives you the range of strike and translucency this combination is capable of. The orange core strikes best in the kiln; the yellow will take either flame or kiln. This is second quality tubing: identical glass, heavier cosmetic flaws or bubbles, sold at a discount.
