Northstar Exp. #188 Ivory White (EXP188)

Exp. #188 Ivory White is a classic warm ivory - a creamy opaque white with soft off-white, pale yellow and faint amber undertones that reads like aged ivory or sun-bleached bone. It answers to your flame: run it neutral and it stays a warm ivory white, push the chemistry and it deepens toward a richer buttercream, which gives you a useful amount of range out of one rod for sculptural work and natural palettes. Part of Northstar's Flesh Tone Campaign, built on NS-054 Star White as a stable base. We stock this colour in two grades. Transitional quality is glass drawn from the start or end of an experimental production run, so the colour can shift between batches - buy enough for the whole piece at once. Second quality is the same glass chemistry with heavier cosmetic flaws, bubbles or striations than a first quality rod, which makes it the economical way to buy #188 for work where the surface gets reworked, encased, or ends up inside the piece. Neither grade can be backordered.
