Titan V1 is the first of Northstar's experimental green series and the lightest of the set, striking to a soft opalescent lime rather than staying flatly transparent. It runs flame stable with very little air in the glass and holds its saturation under an encasement, though it is chromium-bearing so deep encasement is not recommended. If you know TAG-010 Slyme, Titan V1 reads lighter in hue and cleaner in air content. These are transitional slugger bars, drawn from the start or the end of an experimental production run, so the colour can shift between batches. They are discounted and are not available on backorder. Second-quality bars carry heavier cosmetic flaws, bubbles or striations than firsts — same glass chemistry, priced for work where the surface gets reworked or encased.
