Northstar Exp. #103 Venom (103) - Transitional Small Batch, Textured/Milky Transitional Quality Standard Rod Exp 103 Venom

Venom is an air-free, gem-like purple from Northstar's Future Line - smooth to work, strongly saturated, and carrying a slight CFL reaction that deepens the purple under changing light. This is the small batch, run from the last of the original material, so the glass is textured and milky with inclusions carried right through it rather than the clean purple of the earlier release. The colour itself is unaffected: it stays bold and stable in finished work. Transitional glass comes from the start or end of an experimental run, so expect the shade to shift between rods and between batches.
