Northstar Blue Moon (45) - Odd Thin Stringers Odd Quality Stringer / Thin Rod Blue Moon

Blue Moon is one of Northstar's best-loved strikers, and what you get depends entirely on your flame: oxidizing brings up bright metallic blues, neutral pushes it toward hazy green, and a heavily reducing flame drops it to a soft ash grey. It takes well to stringer work, blowing and cold working, and encasing it in clear or under NS-009 Yellow is worth trying. These are hand-pulled 2mm-3mm stringers. Odd quality is the same glass chemistry as first with cosmetic imperfections or off-diameter sections, sold at a discount and not available on backorder.
