Silver Strike-4 First Quality Rod
Silver Strike-4 (GA 384) is a reactive silver borosilicate color that develops softer silver tones over a darker base — a more subdued result than Silver Strike-5. Light work brings up warm butterscotch tones, while heavier reduction produces smoky silvers and muted purples. A lower-cost way to get silver effects while silver prices are high.
Working Tip: Heat to a dull orange and cool multiple times to strike. Use a reducing flame for bleached tones.
