Trautman Art Glass

Trautman Art Glass (TAG) borosilicate color rod and frit, COE 33, known for silver-rich striking colors that shift and develop in the flame. TAG formulas are popular for fume-style depth, amber-purple effects, and reactive color work in pipes, marbles, and sculpture.

Because many TAG colors are striking formulas, the raw rod color often differs from the finished result — final hue depends on flame atmosphere and kiln schedule. Frit grades offer the same palette for surface application and blending.
