Shaped Opals

Lab-created opals cut in shapes — hearts, stars, cabochons, and other forms — made to survive encasement in borosilicate glass. Encased opals add play-of-color flash to pendants, marbles, and pipe millies.

Shaped opals should be fully encased in clear boro with slow, even preheating to avoid cracking the stone; vent moisture carefully and anneal normally. Sizes are listed per piece on each product.
