Europa Star Odd Quality Rod

Named after a moon of Jupiter, Europa Star is the most silver-saturated of the three (Shooting Star, IO Star, Europa Star). Dense sparkles like the Io Star, but here the base tends more toward a dark pink/purple tone, and the strong striking nature of this color can hide the sparkles. Highly reactive. Like the others, Europa Star is a flame striker that will deepen its effects in the anneal cycle at 1050 F. Again, the usual precautions for an aventurine should be taken -- avoid long hot garaging and high temperature kiln strikes. But the Stardust technology provides a very stable sparkle and we have imploded these colors in smaller marbles with success.
