Egyptian Green - Odd Quality Tubing

Egyptian Green, one of the most sought-after offerings from Competitive Glassworks, is a dynamic borosilicate glass color. It begins as a transparent green, which, upon striking, reveals hints of light blues and olive greens.

For maintaining its transparent quality, it's best worked with an oxidizing flame and shorter annealing cycles. However, if a deep olive green is your preference, use a reducing flame and opt for longer annealing cycles. Annealing at 1050 degrees yields the best results.
